About Advocacy
YCEA’s goal is to actively participate and advocate for a business climate that leads to the success of our members and of our local economy. We keep our members up to date on the top issues, provide access to important information, offer educational programming, and opportunities to meet with elected officials — locally, statewide, and on the federal level.
Agenda & Positions
YCEA wants to hear from you to help shape the legislative focuses of the Advocacy Committee in regards to property tax reform, education and workforce, economic development, infrastructure, pension reform, and health insurance.
Municipal Outreach
Advocacy Committee
The York County Economic Alliance Advocacy Committee advocates on behalf of its members and for the betterment of York County. The Committee is responsive to all Alliance advocacy needs.
The York County Economic Alliance Advocacy Committee works for a better York County through its advocacy efforts. The Advocacy Committee also provides education about governmental, regulatory and business issues — monitors and researches to gather timely and thorough information — and presents it in a fact based and non-partisan manner. Additionally, the Advocacy Committee will continue to encourage your engagement with advocacy, focusing on issues that matter.
The business community faces many legislative and regulatory challenges. With the help, and support of York County businesses, the York County Economic Alliance can meet those challenges. For more information on the Economic Alliance’s advocacy program, please contact David Gonzalez.
