Requirements:
- Student interns must be a college student who has completed at least two (2) years of study.
- Interns must complete a report throughout the length of their internship focusing on Economic Development efforts in York County, included but not limited to Education & Workforce, Advocacy, Brick & Mortar Projects, Networking, and Municipal Outreach initiatives. The topic must be approved by the YCEA internship supervisor within the first 3 weeks of their internship.
Interns will have the opportunity to gain a firsthand experience working on Economic Development projects throughout York County, large and small scale event planning, organizational marketing efforts, and membership sales. The many facets of the York County Economic Alliance and Downtown Inc allow for a unique internship experience, one that is catered to the intern’s passion and areas of interest.
